The College of Agriculture had 300 undergraduate students, plus graduate students.
All male students lived at Rutgers -- “the men’s college” -- on College Avenue, and had most of their student life programs on that campus.
About 45-50 students also lived on the College of Agriculture campus in the “Living Units” which were the predecessors of Helyar House.
There were a few “girl aggies” who lived at Douglass College and had their student life programs on that campus.
All students took their required science and liberal arts courses on either the College Avenue Campus, or the Douglass Campus, and took the specialized courses on the Ag Campus.
